Two-way Tables Viz
This app gives learners opportunity to practice their addition and subtraction skills at various levels of complexity. In a two-way table the numbers in each of the rows add up to the number at the right end of the row and the columns add up to the number at the bottom of the row.
Complete the table by selecting a square with a "?" and enter the correct number.
The first level uses values up to five in red given as dice images, but this progresses to single digits up to nine at the next level.
The next level introduces two-digit numbers. The maximum size of which can be adjusted in settings.
To add to the complexity two by three tables add to the challenge.
If the learner has already encountered negative numbers then these can also be practiced via the two-way table app but it is not advised to introduce negative numbers in this way.
