A personal reflection

William Edwards is a “nom de plume” for a recently retired (Summer 2020) mathematics education consultant. Experience includes teacher of Mathematics for 36 years including Head of Department in a secondary school for over 20 years. Led one of the original MALTS (Mathematics Lead Teaching School) and MESH schools that was the forerunner of the Maths Hub programme in England. Previously a FMSP area coordinator and NCETM CPD standard holder, began to focus on supporting the development of Primary Mathematics Education as Maths Hub lead but also contributed to the development of the Secondary Teaching for Mastery Specialist programme. Author of the Logik series of practice software co-ordinated by WeStudySmart.



Capacitarpais is a project aimed at supporting parents and is a personal reflection of ideas, strategies and research of others. It is the on-line version of the advice and support given to family members.

Appropriate acknowledgement of others work and citations is intended and any oversight will be rectified if brought to our attention.
